Nepal's Best

Lumbini is a wild and remote place, yet beautiful and serene and something particularly holy and pure never escapes your realism when you amble across its surroundings. Across the various ancient monuments around it, there are undulating moments of serenity that inevitably surrounds you as you stand upon a place which gave birth to the Buddha centuries ago.

Much of the landscape around Dhulikhel dramatically hilly- the forbidding green hills dominates the countryside, and the peak, Annapurna 8091m unravels before us. The people are cheerful, who stay basking in the sun looking at us with curiosity and amusement. Then there is the Chitwan National Park and we get there by making a drive of about 5 hours from Kathmandu. A haven for some of the most preserved wild animals on earth; it gives us an opportunity of an adventurous jungle safari. The ancient city of Kathmandu lies in a valley and shares it borders with the other two ancient cities of Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. This is the city where we end our tour.
