Payment Procedure and Financial Security
Bhutan Bigfoot Trekkers (Tours) is a member of Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators, a license issued under the Tourism Council of Bhutan, Royal Government of Bhutan. The Tourism Council of Bhutan ’s role is to regulate the Tourism industry, in particular to frame policy directives, which will ensure the Industry’s healthy growth. As a rule, all monetary transactions are approved by the Council and money will be release only after the Tour is completed and the standards are met. As such, there is no risk involved while booking your Tours, Trekking and Adventures in Bhutan.
The rates we quoted are set by the Royal Government of Bhutan. Any other rates set by the
Tourism Council of Bhutan, Royal Government of Bhutan or advertised is illegal.
Your tour payment is inclusive of both the tour cost and Druk Air fare. If you would prefer to make the payments for your tour and air fare separately, we can do for you but please keep in mind, that this might cost additional banking fees for multiple transfers. All tour payments must be settled six weeks in advance of instigation of tour to clear the Bhutan visa by the authority subject to advance payments only. Visa clearance are issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Thimphu Bhutan, and must be obtain before departing for Bhutan.
Note: For your tour to Bhutan, your payment will be deposited to the account of Tourism Council of Bhutan, Royal Government of Bhutan, not directly to tour operator's account; therefore you have more protection against the default on the part of Tour Company.
Please note that all tour groups who come to Bhutan are subject to the following payment procedure. Please be assured of confidence and security when using this payment, basically it required these steps: Go to your bank and ask to make an International Bank Transfer. They have forms, so fill up the forms and sent it to the address below.
